I should clean my garage more often...

I was cleaning and organizing my garage, when Providence shined upon me and gave me these (they were there all along):

Cherry chunks, gifted by my neighbor a couple years ago before they moved. He used to be a woodworker, but I am guessing he had these scraps chopped up for his smoker. Anyhow, life's little victories. This should keep me busy smoking for a while.

Now that’s a find! When I clean mine I find stuff that needs fixed!

So glad I have a carport and not a garage. The latter somehow was able to collect decades worth of crap in 6 months.

I love me some cherry aroma.

I doubt I’ll find anything cool like that so I’ll put it off for another year

Over the last year and a half we’ve been renovating our garage and basement- the two space we literally just throw everything we didn’t know what to do with for 10 years. Both spaces were completely filled w crap. It has been amazingly mentally liberating to throw out so much stuff. Still go a lot to get rid of.

At my age I find surprises several times a week. I found my Shamino Calcuta fishing reel I’ve been looking for. I hadn’t seen it in at least a year. There it was on a shelf in the gun safe, just where i had put it.
