    Hibiscus wood for smoking?

I have a a lot of Hibiscus trimmings . are these worth saving and drying for cook wood? i know the flowers are aromatic but i have no experience with it as cook wood, anyone have a say?

I grow specialty Hibiscus and compost the trimmings, it is not a wood per se, but a hollow weed like, soft stick that has no backbone. doubt you could get much from it but I will try anything twice!
