I bought a bag and thought the smoke flavor was very mild. Also had backburn which has been an issue on my Recteq with anything other than Lumberjack pellets(really only tried 3 brands). Price is right for them though.
May not be relevant but in the instructions for my GMG it says to lower the temperature and let cool a bit if running temperatures over 400 before initiating shut down mode to avoid back burn. I really like the Costco pellets.
