I don't. Bulk install to my underground 500 gal. tank. I know, you need propane as a source to do this. Haven't had to go to Tractor Supply now going on 3 years. And being an old fart with shoulder issues, lugging the filled tank up the deck stairs and hooking up became a challenge. If I ran out, I have an issue with my propane supplier as it's auto delivery.
I read somewhere that most of the tank exchange kiosks don’t fill the tanks to capacity. Now I go to Ace Hardware for refills… their price usually beats the price at the Sam’s Club kiosk that I used to go to.
My gear:
22 Weber Kettle
Napoleon PRO Charcoal Kettle Grill
Broil King Keg
Traeger Pro 34
Napoleon Prestige Pro 500
Pit Barrel Cooker
Blackstone Range Combo Griddle
Walmart has the cheapest refills around. $15 for an exchange. Usually I go to a local welding supply store and have them refill my tanks. Not any cheaper, but I’d rather put my money in a local store.
My local U-Haul that caters to RV's has a propane refill station. As mentioned above, they will fill 'er all the way up when compared to the exchanges that are less than full. Plus I prefer to know how my tank has been treated, I don't want to give it away.
