https://brickseek.com/home-depot-inv...?sku=300620528 You can enter your zip code here and see if any HDs near you have any in stock. Generally speaking I have seen them to be fairly accurate when it comes to inventory levels. Pricing can be a bit hit or miss though. If it is showing "clearance" for the pricing it would probably be worth checking the store.

JoeSousa Thanks for the heads up. I just picked up 10 bags. Now I just have to find a place to put them. I got 10 or 12 bags of KBB and three 40lb bags of pellets already.

This latest haul brings me up to probably around 1500 lbs of various charcoal in my stockpile. Mostly KBB from the labor day sale and a Walmart clearance a couple years ago. And about 40 bags of Weber now. There are a few bags of lump and some Royal Oak in there as well.
Guess this is a sign I need to cook more.

Currently unopened I am sitting on: 3 18.5 lb bags of KBB. 2 14 pound bags of Stubbs briquettes. 1 35 pound bag of Western lump. 5 20 pound bags of Weber. Open: 2 bags of KBB, 1 Kingsford Professional, 1 Royal oak hardwood briquettes and 1 Kamado Joe lump.
The fact that Home Depot put this on clearance tells me they will no longer be carrying Weber. Lowe's dropped Weber last fall. I absolutely love it for low/slow and plan on using it exclusively for that. This means I am actually pretty low on charcoal now that I've soured on KBB - having used better charcoal for a bit and having used a lot of lump since Western was on clearance at Walmart at roughly $6 for a 35 pound bag I find myself only using KBB for really simple things. If I can get Stubbs for nearly the same per pound price as KBB when it goes on sale, I should be stocking up on that. Although I have yet to try it - don't want to open it until I've used up the Royal Oak which will happen the next time I use it.

Not at my Home Depot in Madison, WI. Clerk told me they have never sold Weber charcoal at their location. They did have a sale of $3.90 for an 11 lb. bag of Kingsford "Low and Slow" which I assume is Kingsford Professional. But alas they were sold out of that sale special. First trip ever to HD without buying anything !

- If not cooking outdoors, I am cooking on the stovetop with my 14" carbon steel wok, 12" CI skillet, or in the oven with my two Lodge CI pizza pans, or two dutch ovens. I've also got a nifty Lodge carbon steel grill pan that rocks for veggies outdoors.

Large Big Green Egg, Weber Performer Deluxe, Weber Smokey Joe Silver, Fireboard Drive, 3 DigiQs, lots of Thermapens, and too much other stuff to mention.
I’m in the same situation as MattTheGR8 , I picked up a pair of the Kingsford Regular and a couple of both the Professional and the Long-Burning. And like JeffJ , I still have a lot left from the last sale!
