Weber Charcoal $3.90 a bag at Home Depot

Just got back from Home Depot and if you are a fan of the Weber briquettes it might be worth a trip. They have the 20 lb bags for $3.90 a bag on clearance (normally $20). I grabbed 18 bags and might go back for the other 15 they had later. No idea if they will be sold out at your HD or not but could be worth a look.

On another note, I noticed the price on the Weber Kettles went up. The model that used to be $99 is now $109. The Premium that was $149 is $159 and the Master Touch that was $199 is now $219. Not sure if that is temporary or a permanent price increase. Amazon still has the old prices. Looks like Lowes raised the price as well.

Just noticed the twin 18.6lb bags of K-ford at HD are 9.98...says regular price is 12.88....hmmm, what is going on? They're usually $19.99....why is their regular price 12.88 and why is it on sale for the typical summertime holiday 50% off price?

I have seen some people posting some good deals for Kingsford Professional as well. Can't remember the price on those but I will check when I head back to HD this afternoon.

I think I have about 50 bags of KBB in my shed right now so I will probably be fine without stocking up on those for a while.

JoeSousa Very odd, but a welcome oddity indeed.

Just got back from cleaning out the other 14 bags of Weber they had.

Kingsford Professional was $3.90 as well (I believe 20 lb bags???) and Kingsford Long Burning was $4.90 for an 11 pound bag.

Maybe they are trying to clear inventory to bring in a fresh supply for Spring fever grilling season!

I may head over to HD tomorrow as well to see if they still have Weber charcoal. I was there last weekend and the Weber charcoal was on sale for $12 a bag. Been trying to NOT buy charcoal as I've still got 5 bags of Weber, 6 bags of Royal Oak and 14 bags of KBB in storage from summer sales.

Those price increases are likely due to a 10% tariff that went in effect on Jan 1. I think the 25% tariffs are delayed still. I somehow thought the kettles were still made in the US, but even if they are, I'll bet the steel is imported.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking for the price increase as well. But I have only bought one of my Weber's new 5 years ago. The other 5 have been on Craigslist or FB Marketplace.

I'll stop and get some too. Throw them in the back of the truck for a little better traction as we expect some snow this weekend. At least that's my excuse.

I have one a mile from where I work and I drive by it on my way home. I grabbed the last 4 they had. We have another 1 6 miles south so I went there and they were already out. Still, glad this was posted I got 4 bags and it's my go-to for low/slow. Until I got these 4 I was down to the 1 bag I got for Christmas. I asked a co-worker to grab some if the one by him has any (he is going there for other reasons this weekend). I've got my fingers crossed.
