      I have a 26" kettle I haven't used yet....but would these be a more efficient fuel source then briquettes in a SNS for long smokes?

        Yes for long cooks these are my go to. Two minor issues I’ve noticed, they are hard to light and IMO create a lot of ash. I start them by using a few briquettes in my chimney starter or just light a few in my SnS before adding the char logs.

      I love them in my PBC. I use briquettes in the chimney and dump on a coal basket full of char logs. The PBC will run twice as long on char logs as it will on kbb. I was hoping to try them in the SnS but Ace hasn’t had any lately, hopefully they’ll be back next summer.

        I use them for long smokes in the Chubby G2. Light with 10-12 lit B&B or Kingsford briquettes. Save my briquettes for the Kettle and SnS.
