Haha, funny. I just checked my ACE account - my single purchase was picking up on July 8, 2025, 6 bags of this same stuff. $8.99 per bag. Looks like it's time, since I just finished up the last bag, I think. Perfect timing!
<edit> Just checked, and my ACE shows the 17.6lb bags at $16.99. Doesn't appear to be on sale here. Same bag at WM is $32, but I ain't payin' that, either.
WTF is up with that??? $32 for B&B comp briquettes in a 17.6lb bag?? But Oak LUMP B&B is $15.97 for 20 lbs. <sigh> Things are just so screwed up right now.
Cowboy with their big briquettes is $17.92 for 40lbs - roughly 1/4 of the B&B comp? Ridiculous. Even the Cowboy All Natural Hardwood Briquettes are $9.97 for 14lbs. It actually looks like for some reason WM skyrocketed the price of the B&B, it didn't used to be that much even a month or two ago. Something weird is going on.
....
Oooooh I see. This is being sold by a 3rd party - "Sold and shipped by TEcH LLC Custome Supportβ" as my local store appears to be out. So weird. Now when I click in local store, it shows up at $9.99/bag, but when choosing the product, it then shows the $32/bag and in-store or pickup options are not available, it seems to be sold out. Well that explains it more.
Gotta pay attention to this stuff. Oh well, I'll wait till it comes back in, or pick up 40lbs of Cowboy briquettes, I ain't in no big rush.

Ok, got the Ace Rewards app installed, and see the sale for the charcoal in there. AND by downloading the app - I now have a $10 off coupon for my next purchase of $10 or more! I'll go grab 5 bags, knock another $10 off, and be happy. Assuming they have 5 bags when they open tomorrow morning....

Planning to go first thing in the morning to get my 5 bags and dad is willing to go and get me another 5 in the morning. I can get three bags at Ace this weekend for what 2 bags would cost at the closest Academy (90 mins away).
