Interesting how they did it. I have my hardback copy next to me. They essentially sliced off 3/4" from the bound side of the book! In fact, there is an entire Thermoworks Dot to the left of Meathead's right elbow that is just gone.

Has to be an, uh, "after-market" alternation. No publisher would bind through a title letter like that.

Good to know these sorts of things are potentially unauthorized. I nearly bought a spiral-bound Steven Raichlen book a few months ago, but seemed sketchy.

Usually theu are photocopies. Too expensive to buy the book and alter it.
