Won 3rd place in my first rib cookoff!

So last Saturday we entered our first ever rib contest. We entered in drinks, anything but, and of course ribs!
Our team consists of my wife, her sister, and me. Our team name is Southern Smoke!
We ended up having alot of fun and learned alot about competitive bbq cooking. We have only done one SCA steak competition so far so this was pretty new to us.
Out of 13 teams that entered we took 1st place in anything but, 2nd place in drinks, and 3rd place in ribs!!! Looking at all the scores, we as a team scored the most points out of the whole competition by a land slide!
We are looking forward to our next cook and just hope to keep the momentum going!
