Weekend Grilling

Played around on the Pit Boss Kamado this weekend. Shrimp Diablos and tri tip on friday, and fajitas on Sunday. I don't get to mess with tri tip too often, but HEB has been carrying fairly regularly here lately, so i picked up a couple of them and gave them a good coating of of Hav'n A BBQ 7 Bones Beef Rub and threw some Shrimp Diablos on with them. Turned out great! The 7 Bones Beef Rub is awesome on beef, especially on high heat cooks. The pepper jack cheese really pushed the diablos over the edge. Then on Sunday it was just some nice simple fajitas. Beef for me and my sons, and chicken for my Bride and my daughter. The best part of the Sunday cook was my daughter pitching in to help light and clean the grill.

One of the wonderful things about BBQ/smoking is that it allows us to please one or more crowds--and everyone is happy with the result. Good idea to do chicken and steak fajitas so there's something for everyone. Plus I bet you had a great time with that Adrenaline BBQ Kamado.
