Another Gem Found on Craig's List

Well MCS got the better of me again. I found this Large Big Green Egg on the Craig's List for $500 all in. Side shelves, all the guts, a controller, KAB, plate setter and three different grates.

I need to replace the gasket and do some work on the lid to get rid of some minor over bite but I am pumped to add another Kamado to the patio.

I broke it in right with a solid Pork Belly Burnt End cook just in time for the Fourth.

I'm with Rod, what a great view! Yes the cooker was a good buy, but so many things would look good with that backdrop. Are there fish back there?

Oh yeah. Walleye, Bass, Northern, Crappie, Blue Gill, Sunfish.

Walleye is by far the best freshwater fish I've ever eaten. My casting arm would end up in a sling if I had them that close by.

I was tempted with one a few weeks ago, but I really didn’t have the space. I was at an Eggfest where one of the gals cooking said she had 16 Eggs. You are moving in that direction. Now you can do low and slow and roast or grill for the same meal.

Very nice! MCS may get the better of me this week as well. Did have to replace my broken PartyQ with a DigiQ, but there may be a pellet grill in my future as well.
