Komoto Joes has seen the light

Komoto has left the dark side with the Komoto Joe Pellet Joe. Follow the leader, follow Traeger.

That’s like saying follow the leader, follow Bud Light. They both are overpriced for what they are and lacking in flavor

Being ceramic, wouldn’t the theory be it’s equivalent to a much larger hopper on a conventional pellet grill? Though filling it looks like a PITA by the pics.

glitchy 14 hours burn time is claimed by KJ. Not exactly wonderful given I only would burn a fraction of that in charcoal in the Akorn. The reviews look a little rough.

I’m anxious to see Max Good review this and would love to play with one for a few cooks. All the pellet grills I’ve had have been based on high airflow, so would love to see how it’s designed to avoid flameouts with a Kamado design and what kind of smoke profile it can achieve.

An interesting design. Most brands still have supply issues. We'll see.

That is a heck of a lot of cash for an 18" diameter cooker...
