glitchy 14 hours burn time is claimed by KJ. Not exactly wonderful given I only would burn a fraction of that in charcoal in the Akorn. The reviews look a little rough.
I’m anxious to see Max Good review this and would love to play with one for a few cooks. All the pellet grills I’ve had have been based on high airflow, so would love to see how it’s designed to avoid flameouts with a Kamado design and what kind of smoke profile it can achieve.
Being ceramic, wouldn’t the theory be it’s equivalent to a much larger hopper on a conventional pellet grill? Though filling it looks like a PITA by the pics.
