    First real cook on the Akorn

    filled the fire pot with lump put in wax cube let burn till it flamed out. Dug a hole In charcoal bed and set smoke pot, filled with choke cherry oak and the void with cherry pellet. Set pot in coals wrapped pizza stone with Aluminum foiling set as as defuser set grates adjusted vents Akorn running 235 out on meat closed vents a little more Twenty minutes in to the cook Akorn running 272🤓 up date playing with vents got temp down to 250 ran there hrs. Went to town get some Groceries bump down both vents 1 1/2 later temp running 220

        Been having having a great time playin with this egg I’m running the temp back to 250 chuckie is 160 internal right now I’m making burnt ends out of it dinner is at 6ish🤓

          At 8 1/2 hrs I pulled meat Internal temperature of 178 sliced cubed sauced put back on grill. grill temp 259 by the way bark is delicious
