Best BBQ Guru Fan Adapter for SNS Kettle?

Hi there.

Recently bought an SNS kettle, and one of the attractive points is the ‘smoke hole’ which it seems is designed to allow attaching a blower.

I’ve used BBQ Guru blowers before and really like them, sturdy and durable and I like the metal sleeve mount rather than just squishing against the outer wall of the cooker with a silicone gasket.

Am I correct that the best option if I want to do this, is to remove the ‘flap’ that covers it normally and install the Weber Kettle adapter (https://www.bbqguru.com/product/weber-adapter/)

or is there another type of adapter that fits the SNS Kettle better?

I don’t have this setup but my buddy does and I believe that is what he uses as the adaptor. Others will chime in, but I’ll see if I can confirm this with him.

I have Thermoworks Billows. But I’ve never needed yet it though. In fact I rarely use it at all

I believe that adaptor will work for your needs. I have an SnS kettle and use a Fireboard fan adapter mounted in the smoke hole. While it uses a different method to attach the Fireboard blower, this piece is very similar to how it attaches to the kettle.
