A few weeks ago I was wanting to order another SNS Kettle and they were out of stock on all their kettle grills. I was told they’d be back around mid July. I just checked today and they’re back in stock…..Just an FYI in case anyone was wanting to order one. I’ve got an SNS here at my place, but I’m buying it to use at Mom’s house when visiting.

98% of the time I choose my SNS Kettle over my Weber Kettle. Just a much better cooker overall IMO. Love that you can get the SNS going, shut down the main vents, open the fan port, close the top about halfway, and the thing will stay like a rock around 275 for 6-8 hours.
I do still keep my Weber around for primarily Vortex chicken wings, drums, or thighs. Just anecdotal but it seems like it gets a bit hotter with the vortex than the SNS. And (I know it is stupid) with the high heat the vortex can produce I don't want to "ruin" my "good" grate on the SNS. The Weber grate is already thrashed so I just roll with that.
All that to say, if you love cooking on a kettle and are looking for a new one definitely give the SNS Kettle a hard look. I think it is worth the extra money.

I agree! To show how much I prefer the SNS over the Weber…..I’m giving the Weber Kettle Master Touch I have at Mom’s to 58limited and going to start using the new SNS Kettle I just ordered.Last edited by Panhead John; July 11, 2023, 05:22 PM.

Panhead John You confused me (easy to do), I read this as "and replacing it with his". Tried for a bit to figger that one out.
