Today my current grill gave up the ghost. I have rewelded the charcoal tray a couple times and today it completely broke. Ive used this grill for almost 20 years and it has served me well. I think Ill be jumping on the 10% off sale at SNS for the deluxe version. Looking forward to welcoming this new member into my family.

RIP, I hate losing a grill that has given years of service but sometimes you can only repair so much before deciding that you just have to give it up.
You will not regret the SnS grill. If it is in your means though, consider the SnS Deluxe Kamado - you can use it as a grill and as a true kamado, very versatile.

She gave you her all, that’s for sure! Like losing a family member (well, not quite, but anyway…), best of success on your new purchase-to-be. BTW, just out of curiosity, what make of grill is that, I don’t recall having seen one quite like it before. Also, can’t really tell the dimensions from the pics but it does appear to have a pretty healthy sized cooking surface, are you confident the SNS will provide sufficient cooking space if you’re used to having something larger?

Bade says it is a "BBQ Grill Ware" I remember buying it when I didnt know anything about grilling but I knew I wanted charcoal and I wanted to cook whole racks of ribs. The cook surface is about 20x30. I know that the SNS is smaller, but I think it should be fine for my purposes. I smoke on a Pit Barrel with Fireboard control and I also have a Blackstone 36" griddle for tacos and breakfast. I want the charcoal grill for steaks and chicken, mainly.

I of course love smoked meats of all kinds, but also like quick cooks like chicken portions, pork tenderloins, steak and fish. Really into cooking of all kinds.
My outdoor kitchen has a Lone Star Grillz Adjustable and it is wonderful. There also is a Pit Boss 5 Burner Ultimate Griddle and a Pit Boss Copperhead pellet grill.
There is an outdoor fire pit that has grilling capability and limited Santa Maria-style grill raising and lowering.
