Am considering getting a PK360. Can anyone tell me if there is a dedicated hole for a meat probe? From the looks, you could run it thru the lid vent? Drilling a hole looks like an option as well, but would hate to drill a hole in an $800 grill right out of the box! Thanks.

I always put it through the top vent as well, but never thought of taking out the thermometer and pushing the probe through the vacated hole. If you had your coals on one side of the cooker, I guess you could also come up through the bottom by way of the ash removal vent or the air intake tube on the opposite side of the coals. That way you don't have to worry about the probe wires as you open and close the lid.
