Nicely boxed, each box has a description and picture of what is contained on the top.
Here it is in all its dull glory. I say dull because it is a matte silver, the only shiny parts are the marine grade stainless steel grates and the trim ring around the sideboards to hand towels or utensils. Accessories I had included are Grill Grates, a rib rack, and a charcoal basket.
The PK360 comes with an Ash Hole(TM). Hooks on the back accommodate a metal bucket to catch the ashes.
Starting up coals for first cook.
The sunset was spectacular.
Grass fed beef patty with some onions from the field.

First flip.
Just about done, cheese added.
Coming together.
The final product, served with a locally brewed ale I picked up on the way home.
The only school I've been to is the one of hard knocks. As for old, been there, doing that! When you get your PK you will have arrived and never look back. It is a work of art.
"Closing all of the vents completely will put out the fire. If you have leftover charcoal, you can save it for next time. If you have leftover beer, you did something wrong."
Congrats! You will learn to love that grill. I know I love mine! I have been turning out some of the best ribs ever on this grill. I holds temp so well!
Ah, with one pic you finally answered my question about an ash catcher on one of those. I've admired the PK for a long time, the 360 is beautiful. Enjoy!

That was one of the things that swayed me to get the 360 over the original. It's only Mrs CN and myself, so it's not like we need extra cooking space. And at first I liked the cart that came with the original. Then I realised that when opening the bottom vents that ash would be falling on the shelf of the cart. With the 360 you can open the bottom vents and ash cannot fall out. A plug retains the ash in the bottom of the unit until you, literally, pull the plug and push it out the Ash Hole.
Okay, confession time before someone calls me out on it. I could swear that while doing the research and video viewing that I saw that the Ash Hole was trademarked. However, now I can't find any reference to such. So either somewhere it was done as a gag or I just hallucinated it. Or I just can't find it. I'm prone to either......
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to remove my plug and clean out my ash hole.
I did find the (TM) while filling out the warranty registration. It's on page 14 of the Owners Manual. The Ash Hole and the Air Intake Cylinders have (TM). It's in the section on cleaning, so no wonder I overlooked it!

Second cook was homegrown chicken. This bird got big, so I did it in two stages. I know, no pictures, didn't happen, however scouts honour the legs and wings were already done and consumed when I pulled out the camera.
