Has anyone found a good use for the PK Grill Grates? I bought some about a year ago, and used them for the first time a few weeks ago for burgers, but given that I almost always have 2-zone with a hot fire on one side I didn't see much difference other than a little crisper outside. Or should I just move them over to my gas grill?

Hello, fellow PK 360 cooker! I'm sorry I can't offer any insight because I don't have the grill grates, and if I'm not searing something, all my other PK cooking gets done indirectly like you do.
Hope someone with grates can offer an opinion. And those are some tasty looking hamburgers!

Never saw the draw of grill grates, thus never bought them. The grates on my PK's work just fine.

Kamado Joe Big Joe III, PKGO, PK300, Jumbo Joe and PBC. Weber kettle @ the hunting camp.
They came with my PK360, used them a couple times. Never saw the benefit to them honestly. I much prefer a sear all over the meat vs. straight lines. The flat side does offer a griddle side for smash burger and such, but again, I have a carbon steel griddle that I prefer from Made In. I sold them to a good home.
It's really what is your preference. I didn't use them enough to offer a good opinion on this but have heard they can be difficult to clean.

I have the pk360, and I am looking for a grid for foods that may need to be rotated for even cooking (like a turkey or a roast, etc.). Ideally, it would be be only long enough to still allow for the flip up to still work. Thoughts? The is a roasting basket at ace hardware that I an looking at.

PK owner here. Never understood them either. Searing works great on the regular grates, and I don’t have to spend time and energy on cleaning the aluminum profiles. And just in case I need to sear something on a fla surface I just use a regular cast iron pan directly on the grill. I say spend the money on meat instead 😄
