That’s great to hear! My first cook with it I messed up a bit, mainly due to overloading and then just not having the ability to check on things as much as I would have liked. I am excited to get it dialed in. I love my little PKGO and need to start pushing it’s limits. -
Got too hot, maybe? I have a PK300 as well, and the two grills have very different characters. The PK300 loves to cruise around 250F, but that PKGO is a screamer, it likes 325-350F without breaking a sweat and can easily go above 400F indirect. Gotta love this little thing, I cook whole chickens on it all the time and cleanup is nothing. -
Definitely too hot! I mainly do hot and fast/searing with the PKGO so with the kick ash I gave it a whirl with some chuck for low and slow but wasn’t pleased enough to do much with it besides some delicious smoky chili. I may have been guilty of getting my pkgo so hot it warped my grill grates from the OG. You ain’t kiddin when you say that sucker runs hot!
