To PK 360 owners, How and how often do you do a deep clean? I've owned mine about 6 months, avg 3 or 4 cooks /week, a few long cooks but mostly 2 zone or quick cooks. I sweep out ash and coal after 2 cooks but haven't done a deep cleaning yet! I'd just as soon NOT take the bottom shell off the stand. I own a cover and the grill is under a canopy so no rain or moisture enters the grill. ( My old Kamado would self clean by leaving vents open and let 'er rip!) . Looking for tips!
Thanks.
I have never done a ‘deep cleaning’ on my PK360 and I’ve owned it for about 5 years and I average 2-3 cooks/week. I do use my scrapper on occasion to scrap up the grease/fat on the bottom, around the vents and attachment cap that have hardened over time, but that’s about it. I’ve had no issues with mold, flare ups, etc.
How often do you clean out your bottom vent tubes? A lot of coal dust can accumulate in those and restrict your air flow.

I switched to using hardwood lump charcoal made in the US, and there's so little ash I don't have to clean out the ashes until after about ten cooks. I keep a galvanized 10 gal trash can under the back side, take the lid off, take the plug out, and use a whisk broom to sweep the ashes out the hole in the bottom.
As far as the rack goes, I do all my PK cooks on half aluminum pans with SS racks on top. This catches all the grease and I throw the SS rack in the dishwasher, so I never get any grease accumulating in the cooker itself.
Once this summer, I blew it all out with the garden hose and let it dry, restoring it to newish condition.
