    Cover for the PK 360

Hello all....was wondering if anyone had bought a cover for their grill off Amazon, not the official one from PK please. If so can you please post the link or if anyone wants to leave a link on a suggestion that will fit the grill would be greatly appreciated!

Is there even a reason to cover them? I leave my PKGO out in the weather all the time. At some point I'd like the new PK or the 360 but I wasn't even thinking about a cover.

I cover mine simply because I leave the unburned charcoal in it, when it rains the top vents leak a little and dampen the charcoal.

ok that makes sense, I don't do that, I burn it off in my go 'cause I have never and will never use charcoal enough for saving it to matter.

Covers always seem to trap dew and moisture.

I never cover mine but I did make a baffle to keep water out of the vents. Pic in my avatar.

This is my recommendation as well.

I have 4 covers from them and my dad has two. You can’t go wrong with them. They may already have the cover you need made, or you can send dimensions and they will make it up for you and cost isn’t bad. The material is excellent and lasts!

Feel free to ask any questions if needed.

Since my PK360 has the round vents, I’ve considered pipe caps to cover the top vents. It’s not my original idea, but have seen people do it. I would recommend felt gasket material on the edge to prevent them from screeching the finish(assuming you have the black cooker). The pic below is PVC, but have seen folks use the brass version.

Anything larger than the holes that would seal would work. Silicone hot pad holders with a rock on top of each one, for instance.

Note also that in a lot of rain even with the vents covered, a little water still sneaks in through the side because there is no overhang lip between the top and bottom halves.

Usually a small amount of water. I’ve not worried much since it’s all stainless and aluminum. Just try not to leave ash in there to make mud to clean out.

If you are not interested in a cover from PK, why not just measure Your PK360 and go up to a hardware store and buy whatever cover they have to fit your PK? I’ve done that before.

I'm a big fan of Classic Accessories. Their covers all have 1, 3, or lifetime warranties. All my covered items are in direct, full sun with wind exposure and last about 1 - 1.5 years. Classic Accessories is always good about honoring the warranty and replacing them when they wear out. They have a website (classicaccessories.com) but are about half the price on their store on Amazon (I usually find the cover I want on their website and purchase on Amazon).

l appreciate everyone's response to my post. I usually cover all my grills and will likely do what TripleB suggested, measure it up and grab one off the shelf. I wanted to get the grill before the prices went up. Been told stores can continue to sell their remaining stock at the lower price. Pics to come!

Sorry I missed this thread when it was active, but this is the one I have:

If you search my name, I'm pretty sure I posted a pic of it on the grill in another thread. Paid $30 back in August 2020, out in the weather full time and still holding up fine.

I got a couple of nice heavy duty non vinyl covers from Home Depot and Walmart(expert grill) for a couple of my grills for under 50 dollars. I also just got the offical branded fitted cover for my Original PK but the thing does not come with any straps or buckles to tighten it down, it keeps blow off. The only reason I bought it instead of a generic big box one was because it said PK on it and it was on sale.
