    A change with the season

Start with the bad news, lol. The bottom vents on my last free 22" weber kettle rusted off. With temp controls no longer an option it's time to bid farewell.

Good news, I now have a PK Original!

Bottom vents rusting out should no longer be an issue.

This + PBC + Recycled Weber Genesis Silver is now my arsenal...let the weekend begin

I hope your new PKO brings you as much happiness as mine has brought me. I don't know why but my best plate ribs come off that grill.

                I know it will!

The pure joy of a new/different cooker.

Spreading the coals and lowering the lid differently for the first time, knowing this will be the new normal...made the over cooker steak fajitas tonight the best over cooked steak fajitas I've ever eaten!

Sad day for the Weber. Looking forward to seeing what comes out of the PK.

Luckily you do have the PBC. PBC, PBC, PBC!

If you haven’t ditched your Weber the vents are replaceable.

Don't ditch the old Weber 22". I know it sounds crazy, but they make very good pots for plants. I had an old 22" too where the vents rusted out. I took off the legs, lined the vents with some screen mesh and planted an outdoor plant in it. I'd show you a pic, but the plant has grown over the sides and covers the weber.

I know it sounds weird, but It's nice to know my original weber kettle is still providing service.

And by the way, the PK is great. I have the original too that I use as my portable grill. Just bought the Tel-Tru thermostat and attached it last weekend.

Nice! I love my PK, one of the best things I've cooked on mine is TripleB 's Thai Chicken: https://pitmaster.amazingribs.com/fo...ai-bbq-chicken

Nice replacement. Those PK's work great. I had the classic like yours and a PK 360. I sold the classic and kept the 360.
