Looks nice like all their products. But why didn't they make a taller lid. Love my Weber kettles but they just need a little height on the lid. Spatchcocking looks like the chicken / turkey took to long to cross the road and got run over. JMO.
Our lid makes better use of the heat in the kettle. As far as more space.... we're working on a rotisserie/pizza/secondrack ring that will rock the kettle world=)
Looks like a very nice upgrade to a standard kettle. In fact, best of all compromise, I think, if you can only have one cooker (or just starting out).
I’ve always loved all of the SnS products - never been disappointed. Too bad I’ve already put holes in my Weber- this would have saved me time and bloody knuckles.
I saw this and got excited too, but I already have 2 kettles and a wsm. I finally convinced my wife to let me get a grilla chimp, think she would notice another kettle? Probably
No, it’s just like guitars...get it in the same colour.
And when she says, "Did you get ANOTHER guitar/cooker/whatever?"
Your reply will be, "That black one? No, I’ve had that forever." LOL
(Nobody accidentally acquires thirty+ guitars.)

IMO it's been a long time coming adding some creature comforts to the smaller 22" kettle. I think dismissing it as 'why make another pricier kettle when Weber already makes the best' is like saying all pants are the same, or all trucks are the same, because they look the same. This makes several improvements on the standard Weber kettle while still keeping all of what makes the kettle grill a timeless tool.

Other useful bits...
KitchenAid 7-qt Pro Line stand mixer
A Black & Decker food processor that I can't seem to murder
A couple of immersion blenders, one a "consumer" model & the other a "high end" Italian thing. Yes, the Italian one is a bit better, but only marginally
Instant Pot Duo Evo Plus 8-qt + accessories like egg-bite & egg holders
All-Clad pots & pans, along with some cast iron...everything from 7" Skookie pans to 8.5qt Dutch ovens
Weber GBS griddle, pizza stone, and wok
Knives range from Mercer to F. Dick to "You spent how much for one knife? One knife?!" LOL
To be honest...I have absolutely NO interest in getting one.
BUT...I do like things like this because it keeps people like Weber on their toes.
Not a bad thing.
When they get fully lazy and rely on their name alone, nobody wins.
Folks y'all are gonna LOVE this kettle. I'm very happy with it. Regarding the kettle including the SnS, we decided against it because we expect the vast majority of early adopters will already have an SnS.
