You did WHAT with a Char-Griller? YOU DID NOT!

    Well yes, yes I did.

$ 40.00 New in-the-box on Craig's List. Did I do this to make y'all laugh, or jealous? Both, I think. How could I NOT do this?

lostclusters With some upgrades - yep! You might want to consider the toggle clamps and the Lava Lock gaskets for yours - and gaskets where you mount it on your Legacy. Seals it up nice. The toggle clamps came 8 in a set on Amazon for < $ 10.00. They're adjustable, which is great. Now I'm painting the logo R/W/B with Testors model paint.

Mr. Bones Well you're not laughing too hard! But I KNOW you're amused. I think it turned out GREAT. Cute li'l burner. It needs a name...

I'm tempted to dive in deep and try a small butt or roast in it. I bought it just for dogs, bratwurst and planked fish, is what I was thinkin'...

I put the rectangular grill I was using last couple years out front a couple months ago - Mr. Bones had one too, ~ 23" wide I think? - set it out with a chimney and it was gone that day. Saw it walking my dog in a fella's back yard yesterday. Told him it was mine - he came an' shook my hand 3 times. Told me he 'followed my lead' and left it setup for indirect. Reverse MCS is fun too!

hahahaha, well, you got me laughing. It will work work for ripping some steaks or taking to a tailgate. For 40 clams, it's probably worth it.

When you are ready to get serious about a Bad A portable grill, click no further.

    Great post!

I've got a lot of Lodge stuff - everyone here probably does too - but not that. There's a lot of Griswold, Wagner & vintage local foundry CI in St. Louis, but the stuff does last forever.
