Whew! Busy Weekend, Part II... Free Cooker

Friday, Sattiday, Bill's neighbours in th other half of his duplex were movin out; they both graduated Pharmacy School.

So, Sattiday AM, I see a cooker layin out at th curb, jus like Bill's new one...
Of course I dragged (carried) it home; every nut n bolt are like 5+ turns loose on it, an it wanted to wobble like a drunken hula girl, with a bad inner ear infection.

I'll git it all tightened up, cook a few times on it, post here, an then find a recipient who needs a grill, shouldn't be too hard, an at least it ain't in th landfill...

The "bad inner ear infection" puts it over the top

I'd marry her if it weren't for the ear infection!

Stall warning LoL! Mr. Bones plus stick shaker!

We've tried the string Keiferr but at .85 it departs the windshield!

Yes Mother Mudkat only after work is done.

Sounds like the start of a charity ( Hook a Kid on BBQ?). I do like when items get more life and don't end up in a landfill. Good job!

I have one of those under the deck, someone used it once and then left it outside for a couple years. Pretty low quality item, sells new for around $20. It will cook a whole lot of burgers or dogs at once, though, or half a dozen whole racks of ribs, if you're looking to put together a party on the cheap this is the way to do it.

Mr. Bones i love your story telling! I have a similar grill in my camper (along with a small BGE) that I use for burgers and tube steaks and searing steaks after a reverse sear. Mine folds up nice for storing. You need to name your new found treasure the Hula Grill!
