    New Portable Grill……

Just ran across this portable grill a guy is selling. He’s in S.E. Texas and makes and sells them out of his shop. Looks kinda cool and would be a space saver on camping trips or whatever. He should definitely make a carrying case for it though.

A stainless version would be sweet.

This is really cool - thought the price would be the sticking point but $150 ain't bad (although out of stock).

Yeah, after posting this I saw it was out of stock…🤷‍♂️. I just sent him an email asking about future availability. If/when I hear back I’ll post here what he says.

Very nice. I would consider one of these.

That's a great design for sure, I agree stainless and thinner might be a better option for hikers and stuff but the super thick metal should last quite a while for RV and camping typer folks. Just because of fire safety I wouldn't be able to run that at the house sadly, or not without a large catch pan for hot coal ashes.

One would have to be very careful about when and where to fire it up.

I just went to his web site. They’re $150, for that I may give a couple as Christmas presents.

yep, a very reasonable price for that much thick custom cut steel

I'll PM my address, but one should be enough...

I’ve been eyeing this collapsible grill/bonfire pit from Hunsaker—just $129! It’s built like a tank at 21 pounds, crafted from solid 11-gauge steel, and looks perfect for camping. One side’s a grill grate, the other’s a griddle, so you’re covered for steaks and pancakes. Best part? Shipping’s free in the U.S.

that one looks nice too, and maybe even better suiter for a camping situation... but the one PJ linked is better thought out IMO (well, except I like that the Hunasker raises the coals up a bit for better underneath airflow... that's one thing missing from the linked grill that may or may not matter)

That looks good also. The only thing is, with half of the grate being a griddle, it makes for a pretty small grilling area. They should offer a full size grate AND a full size griddle…IMO.

All valid points, but i do like a few more features of the Hunsaker plus free shipping at a very reasonable price.

I thought the same thing. Don’t anyone get your hopes up of getting one though. This guy is very frustrating. After I posted this, I noticed 4 or 5 YouTube videos of his, touting the grill. There were hundreds of people asking how to get one one. IF he posted a link to his cheap ass website, it always says sold out. And… he never answers the posters questions about availability……The guys a ghost.

PJ, you could probably have those cut out of paper plates and then the whole thing would be disposable! I only charge a 10% fee…..🤓🤔😂

This is one of those things that you almost buy and figure out how to use it later.
