Want to start to learn traditional yakitori, but lots of the "boutique" Grills like Bincho grill seem needlessly expensive for what they offer, ideally i'd like the traditional rods to have skewers rest on, and the option to place a mesh grate on top for the more delicate yakitori items. I know you can use bricks etc but i don't want to have to set that up every time.
Yakgrills looks good but not sure if it's good enough at holding heat vs the ones with the stone inside.
i see a teruhime branded ones that seem good but do they have enough cooking surface for the mesh?
Can you modify, enhance your charcoal grill or buy an attachment? I assume you have a charcoal grill.
I agree that paying money for a one-trick-pony is rather foolish. I wanted a Santa Maria grill, but was not going to buy one. So I bought an attachment that has worked out great.

I haven't seen one with an akorn, charcoal would be much farther away, and I'm ok with spending a little bit for a standalone thing, but adding stuff to the akorn with individual bricks which is often done would be a pain to add and remove over and over
