So this has sent me down the Alibaba rabbit hole, including Aliexpress. Given the recent China tariff chaos, anyone with recent experience/observations?

yakima it's hit or miss and DHL is dirty... Out of 4 orders this is the only one I got hit for this price, the two more recent orders I got charged $20 more for shipping and an email saying my item would be held at customs until I paid the bill, same day of email item appeared on my porch and no bill. The first order I got a few warnings there may be charges but nothing. Everything came within 10 days of shipping. Note the below is in addition to the $20 additional fee for shipping to the US but that was on the storefront side.

My favorite part is all the companies suing the govt for back pay since the SC ruling, yet they bill us directly not just for the tariff but that crap processing fee as well.

My takeaway is that it is spooky, confusing, uncertain. Not going to navigate this route for stuff I don't really need or of minor expense.
