I was shopping for some wood pellets for my Traeger today and I saw these, has any one used them? I bought a 40# bag of regular hardwood pellets. I thought I posted this earlier but now I do not see it.
still waiting on somewhere near me to stock them. These are still the only 100% charcoal pellets on the market. I would suggest mixing them with your favorite wood pellets.
I tried them mixed about 50/50 with regular pellets, and got no noticeable charcoal flavor from them. My pooper had trouble holding reasonably steady temp with them, but YMMV.
