    Can you flex your MCS?

As a devout gizmoholic for many decades I've bought some pieces of equipment (cooking and other) that were somewhat dubious in the eyes of others. But even I'm not convinced there's any need for this cooker. New Offer – Griller Dude

The best use I can see is to dazzle your buddies after a six pack or two with the mechanical action. Sort of like one of those toys that you turn a crank or push on side and it articulates through a repetitive motion. After that? Meh. If I had PJ's money maybe, just for the potential humor, but nah. Convince me otherwise.......

I can't see it, Not for the price. Flipping the meat is part of the grilling experience.

One of the stupidest ideas I’ve ever seen… …But I could be wrong. One of the reviewers, Gary P. says….”One of the best steaks of my life.” Well, if ol Gary says that, who am I to argue?

You see that kind of comment often on the webs.............some person I don't know anything about, telling me it's the "best ever". How do you know if they've ever even had a steak before? But, they probably are telling the truth............as they see it. At least PJ, I know that when you say a certain beer is "best ever", I'd never touch the stuff.

When the price drops to $1.49, I'll buy one as my Secret Santa gift. My giftee this year is gonna be very lucky.

So I put my burgers on from the front of the grill and I have to walk all the way around the back to flip it? That sounds like a pain. Then I flip the meat juices towards me?!

E-Z clean up. Submerge in the bathtub with soapy water and have at it.

I don't hate it. I actually kind of like it for when you have a lot of stuff to keep flipping. You need this to make authentic huli huli chicken, for instance. For the price, I would like for it to be bigger, though.

No, you seem a little shady, Panhead John. I think I'll go with one of those legit warranty sales people who keep calling me every day.

Eventually MCS is going to push even those of us who feel like this is a bad idea now to pull the trigger. I sense you enjoy provoking that a bit 😂

Yeah, I mean, who wants to be bothered with all that spatula/tongs.. flipping meat ordeal anyway? 🙄 To me, these things would take 90% of the fun out of grilling. Also, what are the chances of every single piece of meat you put in the durn thing being the exact same thickness? And, is the temperature of your coals gonna be the exact same all the way across? Fat chance. What happens when you have flare ups? You gotta remove all of them, even if the flare up is only in one area. Is everyone gonna want their steak done the same? Let’s say you’re cooking 4 steaks, 2 people want their steak medium, one wants his medium rare and the other wants hers rare. What are ya gonna do? Stop, open it up and remove one steak…rinse and repeat? 🙄 The same applies to other proteins….I’ll pass.

            You're over thinking this.
Do you like your eggs over-easy?

In addition to the above critiques... You'd think in order to keep everything in place you would be squeezing out all of the juices. Plus having to clean 2 grates?
