Just a heads up for anyone who might contemplate this cooker, I was in Sam's a couple days ago and the price was dropped to $224.98. It felt surprisingly solid for that price.

I personally woudl prefer the vent be on the right side, the inside. Like PJ pointed out, you'll have to reach across the vent to grab the handle. I've never been a fan of hinged lids anyway, to me they're limiting, so my "get off my lawn" is showing here. Not a bad price for what you get though. I wonder how many New Balance dads will pick this up along with 3 bags of matchlight??

realdocBBQ lol, I tried on one pair years ago but they were the wrong ones for me so I wasn't a fan. I'm an asics fan, one day I will be mocked for that I'm sure but I don't care

Yeah my son made fun of me for wearing 'Dad shoes' once - I'm still salty about it. They were just a pair of Nike running shoes. So I recently bought a couple of pairs of Under Armors I found on sale and he says they're "not quite as bad". Faint praise from a 16-year old. Grrrr....
