Anyone using the rotisserie burner for other things

Anyone try using the rotisserie burner as part of roasting? My Prestige hits and holds 350 degrees nicely with the 2 side burners. Had a chicken recipe that called for 450 to start and then drop to 400 to get the chicken browning (had a pan full of root vegetables under it). Tried the 2 side burners on with the rotisserie on low. Heated up the rotisserie side well, but a the non-rotisserie side was alot cooler. Fun experiment that seemed to have some potential but wondering if others out there have figured this out.

That first pictures looks like a snack, almost too small to lock into the rotisserie…

Outstanding Attjack! Did you have to rotate your vegetables when they were in the drip pan? Im assuming the rotisserie burner side would have been hotter?

Sometimes I probably did, other times I would stir. I've also experimented with using side burners too. In the end, it's pretty forgiving, and the basted veggies always taste amazing.

If you look close, you can see I'm using different grills. One is a 4 burner Blaze and the other is a 2 burner Weber without a rear burner.

I only eat one sandwich at most per day, so I always try to make it count.
