I still love my 560..this thing really cooks...I am having some worry about the bracket that holds up the manifold..I have the first 560 type not the new v2 type..I was cleaning it out yesterday and adding some new mods..when I noticed my bracket is bending downward..I know the new one now has a cross brace..can I buy one and install it on my older unit..this may be from I use the ss manifold cover with brackets for drip pan...that very well may make it two heavy and causing it to bend....any ideas would be much appreciated..

I noticed this issue too.
Have you tried tightening the two screws holding the bracket to the wall? The screws are under the shelf. I did that and my bracket straightened up nicely. -
yes I did...I am thinking about adding washers and nuts also...but as always I get all in a uproar and just ordered a new bracket...actually the old and new cross brace..I think I will have to drill into the pit to do that...I must have all the mods now between Luke and Nathan.

I typed in 560 masterbuilt manifold bracket and it sent me to the masterbuilt site...I just can't help it..and ordered both ...really dumb..the old one is fine..I did bend it back up...and retighen the screws...but they changed to a cross brace...style on t he new ones...
. local bass pro and lowes had both types at same prkce..
my friend, his wife bought the v2 560 at academy for 299..JOSH picked it up the next day and they loaded a 1050....what a deal

well I ordered the new cross brace...I do believe this will work much better...seems to me though masterbuilt needs to send out improved information...still think this is a great pitAttached FilesComment
