I assembled my new Gravity Series 800 this Saturday and started the pre-seasoning. No issues were found at 250F for an hour but when I increased the temp to 400F after a few minutes I got an Err 3 message on the controller - the manual says this is due to overheating but don’t understand how this could be? Has anyone else experienced this issue? Thanks

I get this error sometimes and usually if I open and close the lid, that works or simply turning the smoker off and on again. Make sure you haven’t skipped a step in the instructions for initial burn in.
