Any one pick up the new deflector plate or wood split basket for their pellet smoker?
Doom scrolling last night, and a video randomly came up with a guy installing them on his LSG pellet smoker. a quick Google search later and found these two items. has anyone ordered or tried this? Did LSG released a game changer without telling anyone? I know it’s part of some of their newer builds, but didn’t realize it was backwards compatible.

I have not. If I have any more smoke output from this thing I'm just not going to bother checking the dang meat cuz I'm tired of getting smoke in my eyes.
I could have used this on my Blazen Grill Works.
Not sure what a split will accomplish over the wood chips and pellets.
I’m tempted to get the stainless deflector as might be easier to clean (from a pure lazy point) but also not sure how much more smoke this thing can rock out. At the same time, the idea of burning splits in my pellet instead of firing up my offset is exciting on principal alone.
