Just a quick note that after only about a year of use, the gasket on the lid of my Adjustable started releasing itself:

I had a few difficulties communicating with LSG about this. On the day that I called, their phone connection was so bad that I couldn't make out what they were saying. So I went to email, and Chris sent me the link to the replacement gaskets they sell. I tried ordering it from their website, but that was messed up, too. It couldn't calculate shipping and so it wouldn't let me complete the purchase.
But then after further thought, I realized that the surface the gasket attaches to is a full inch wide and the gasket they put on the cooker was only a half inch. I searched on Amazon and found that LavaLock makes stick on gaskets that are three quarters of an inch wide. So I got a 15 foot roll. It was a little more expensive than the narrow ones from the cheap brands, but LavaLock seems to be what folks here like.
We put it on this morning. The look is beautiful and the feel of closing the lid is now soft and luxurious.

We didn't try to replace the gasket on the back side of the lid. We didn't want to remove the lid from its hinges and there is very little space to get fingers in there to remove the old gasket, clean the surface and apply the new gasket. But when you look closely, you see there is a high wall at the back of the cooking surface, so smoke would have to go up 8 inches and then back down to sneak out through the back gasket. We also tested by slipping a piece of paper into the opening from behind and closing the lid. It's tight on the right side and a little loose on the left, but I'm betting this thicker gasket in front won't allow much if any smoke to get out through the back.
I just bought some country style ribs I'm going to cook tomorrow night, so we will see how good the seal is.
