Agree with all, you're gonna love it. This thing KILLS poultry of all kinds. I did a whole turkey for our annual holiday party last year (along with prime rib and ham) and it was unbelievably good.

I'm following this thread in eager anticipation of picking up a PBC on Saturday and firing it up on Sunday. I guess that makes me a soon-to-be barrel head. I take it that chicken would be a good starter cook?

I've heard the most talk about chicken and ribs. I'm going to start with ribs since I haven't been able to fit them on my tiny charcoal grill. I've done chicken recently, so I'm hankering for ribs. But I don't think you can miss with either one!

Happened to stop by my local Food Lion today after work and baby back ribs were Half Price! So I obviously picked up a couple of racks, assembled the smoker, and am about to embark on my first PBC cook!

The PBC is the Bird Whisperer...best birds (chx & turkey) I have ever enjoyed come off the PBC.
