slopoke76, Congratulations on Your New PBC! I hope You are as Happy as the other Owners in "The Pit" seem to be!
Eat Well and Prosper! From a Backyard Cremator in Fargo ND, Dan
I have a Charbroil gas grill, Big Easy, Large gas smoker and small electric smoker, GMG Davy Crockett pellet grill. I also have a 160L Cabelas dehydrator which I use for beef jerky.
Well, we got an email this morning confirming our PBC & all accessories have been re-packed and shipped with an ETA of April 7. That's to Manila, where it's processed thru customs, etc., then usually a week or two till it's delivered to our door step. The anticipation factor is off the chart having to wait this long!!!
Cookers:
Large Big Green Egg with a Ceramic Grill Store rack system, and the SnS setup.
Weber Genesis SA-E-330 LP INDIGO with SS Grates, Weber Crafted frame kit, baking stone, griddle (2/3), all from Ace Hardware.
For the first time in a long time I have no kettles as I gave them all away.
Everything Else:
SnS #3 with certificate. I was their first customer.
Sous Vide equipment.
SnS and Thermoworks instant read and leave-in thermometers.
Grill Grates for BGE.
Kingsford Blue Bag, Weber lighter cubes, Weber charcoal chimneys.
Rubs with salt: Meat Church Holy Cow.
Rubs without salt: Home-mixed versions of previously sold SnS Grills Rocky's Rub and Not Just for Beef using their recipe. SPOG.
Spices: Lots of 'em.
Oh man, the waiting IS the hardest part!!! We love to take pics of our life and adventures & share them with friends around the world, so you can expect they will be forthcoming
In the meantime, I thought I might post a few pics of a few cooks on our 3 burner Charbroil gasser, some home made stuff & pics from our New Years family get together with a whole native pig, etc. etc., hope that's cool with everyone. So happy we found this path in life and all of you!! Freeman & Cynthia
Hahaha....not sure what happened in pic# 2, the kids look like little zombies!!! They were presenting the home made lasagna team effort....tho it was late and they were low batt by then
We make our creamy coleslaw pretty much the same as Meathead's recipe, except we add chopped walnuts & dried cranberries for a couple extra kicks. The dried cranberries also help sweeten it, so we cut back the sugar a bit, and, as an added bonus, the cranberries help to absorb the excess moisture. Win win, yes?
One superb dish after another. Outstanding pics of some outstanding looking food, the prep help is cool too. Keep em coming, pics, pics & more pics. Cannot wait for your prize to get to you, counting the days with you.
I can tell you you will never look back...simply the best....it will be on your door step before the weekend, send pictures you will love it. I might suggest a Pork Butt as a first cook...the best
