Nope, not on back order. It all has to be shipped via slow boat to the Philippines!!!

Still not sure about any sort of local flair on bbq.....they bbq here bout the same as we do (except not on a Pit Barrel)....yet!! Although rotisserie chicken and whole hog establishments abound. Adobo sauced ribs or pulled pork might be interesting.

@slopkoe76 - I like that idea. I use adobo sauce for pork after I BBQ. I haven't used it as part of a sauce for BB!'ing.

Congrats on the purchase. I bet the first forty days will go fast. I'm not so sure about the last five...

I got mine a couple of months ago and love it. The only thing that disappointed me was the use of round stock steel on the base for legs instead of the horse shoes on the original. I know they added no function but I would have paid for the up grade.

I know!!! I saw that they did that one the new ones. Too bad. They also have screws for the handle. Instead of a weld like on the 1st gen. PBCs. I may not have that shiny exterior, but I do have the horse shoe base!!

I've only had mine a few weeks but it was one of my better purchases. I haven't any complaints on the food so far, but I can tell you it will cook some chicken.
