    Short Ribs

    Lucky's meat dept had a sale on short ribs, I talked to the butcher and he saved me 2 4 bone racks for cooking, Took about 6.5 hours on the PBC for a 210 temp, wrapped in foil for 3 hours, pretty tasty, also brewed 10 gallons of Amber at the same time, kinda goes hand in hand.

      Where do you live. I'm going to have to confiscate at least 8 gallons of that amber beer. Ambers are my favorite. By the way those ribs may have to come home with me too. Looks great.

        The beer and the ribs look really bad. I think you can just turn both over to me and I will see what I can do with them!

            Totally agree! Made some shorties over the summer and it's like serving every guest their own personal moist brisket.

          Well, I've got a rack of short ribs in the refrigerator. You've just given me the impetus to PBC 'em soonest. BTW those are definitely prime time!

              Darn it. Brewmaster did not believe my critique of his beer and ribs and did not give them up to me. Oh well. Maybe someone else will post a delicious photo of beer and food and will give them up. Since I haven't ever won the monthly prize I figured I could get something the old fashioned way!

                  So was it 3.5 + 3 hours wrapped or 6.5 +3 ? Nice looking ribs. I got a bunch from Restaurant Depot recently and separated to freeze. I've been experimenting with different times and temps to cook from frozen.

                    It was 6.5 cook and 3 wrapped, wife is BIG chief's fan we will see what happens when they play the Raiders, tbob4 we may have to get together one of these days

                          I braised some a couple of days ago and they were fantastic. However, after seeing this I will pop them in the smoker next time. Great post!
