Huli-Huli Chicken on the pit barrel

Did MH's Huli-Huli chicken tonight. Cooked about 2.5lbs of BL-SL Chicken thighs. Pulled both rebars out to get the temps to settle between 310-325. Props to my wife for the Hawaiian style macaroni salad, it was great. The chicken was excellent. I was worried about the amount of ginger, but the marinade got rave reviews.

Hawaiian huli-huli chicken is a hugely popular type of grilled chicken with a sweet teriyaki style barbecue sauce. Here's my take on the recipe.

It's a mayonnaise heavy salad that is typically served in Hawaiian BBQ restaurants.
