    Smoking dilemma

Going in for cataract surgery Thursday. Doctor said no sex for a week- no problem. Cannot use your smoker for 2 weeks...PROBLEM!!!!
    Maybe I should just cancel...😜😜😜

When I had one done he never said anything about sex or the smoker, that was two years ago and I'm fine.

I got the toric multifocal lenses last August. Toric is for astigmatism. It worked out great and it was too hot here in SWFL to run the smoker in August.

      I agree, find a new doctor. 😳

Sounds like you have one week there to find something to do besides smoking. Or get a new doctor. Good luck.

You can do it! I finally got to cook outdoors for the first time in a month the other day, because of weather mostly. You got this! And best of luck on the procedure

I "see" your dilemma and me thinks it's the doctor. Good luck with the procedure.

              I recommend Punch cigars, sporadically.

You hear about the lawyer who bought some extremely nice cigars, then filed a fire insurance claim when they burned up?

That would be amazing, since I couldn't play before surgery.

Of all the wonders that modern medicine has done for me the cataract surgery is the most life changing. I wore glasses from the first grade until I was 60 years old. Because of cataracts they replaced the lenses in both eyes. I still have 20/20 vision over 10 years later. Yes I do need readers to do close work but don’t need glasses for anything else. Back then I don’t remember any restrictions on my activities, just had two different kinds of drops to use every day for a month or so. This is one of those things that makes you better than you were by a noticeable amount.

I'm in that boat, except my unusually bad eyes developed cataracts by age 54. 4.5 years later I still have 20/20 distance vision, and just keep cheap readers laying around the house and office for doing close up work more comfortably. I can read and use my cell phone well enough though without anything, and make out most menus in restaurants, but prefer the readers for extended close up stuff without a headache...

I thought it had been longer than 4.5 years, but so glad to be out of glasses...

Think his wife would be into that? I'm not sure mine would be. Oh, wait... πŸ˜„

I'm guessing that it may have something to do with blood pressure. You don't want to get too excited and pop an eyeball
