MCS Strikes...OKJ Bronco Pro

I was talking to a friend of a friend at the party Saturday and he was saying he had on OKJ Bronco that he bought but never used especially after getting a Traeger. He said he would send me some pics if I was interested he would take $100 for it. He sent me the pics and from the pics I could tell it was a Bronco Pro...I just went and picked it up...He also threw in about 1/3 Royal Oak Lump a couple of bags of wood chunks and chips, fire-starters, and a ring he had made with a couple of bars across it to hang meat from (like in the PBC) instead of using the included hangers.

Any suggestions from the experienced Bronco users for someone that has experience with a PBC...

edit...after further checking it out, it is the standard Bronco not the Pro...I was comparing it to the pictures on the OKJ website and the current Bronco has a different lid than the Pro version on the website...still a good find...

Great score from a great friend! I Love my regular Bronco. The OKJ Bronco Triple Grate is the only accessory that I have for my Bronco. As you can see, I can smoke a lot when needed. Enjoy your new toy!

It is a great smoker, but I may part with mine. I have a WSM that I like just a little bit better

Good score. You'll find that you will have a lot more versatility than you're accustomed to on the PBC, both lower temp and higher temp control with the two stack dampers and the lid seal. It will take you some experimentation to get the hang of them, but it shouldn't take much.

That was a phenomenal score! And the fuel and smoking chunks is extra gravy. I’m new to the Bronco, I bought mine brand new in the form of a 2.0 version this April. I’m far from expert, but I’ve had a lot of fun and great food with it.
