MCS struck so I bit- I’ve been eyeing the Bronco for a while and saw it was on sale this weekend at several places- Oklahoma Joe website, Home Depot and Lowe’s. HD had free shipping so I pulled the trigger. Should be here on Thursday. I’m excited!

That’s great to hear! Do you ever hang a whole bird and cook it on the hooks? And have you ever done a turkey in that fashion?

I spatchcock them and hang them like that. I often do at least 2 or 3 at a time to make the charcoal use especially worth it. Then I vacuumed seal the legs and thighs and shred the white meat for use in recipes later.
I have also done a couple of turkeys . I have done both whole and spatchcocked. Turkeys turned out decent. I’m not a huge fan, but others liked them.

Grills:
Weber 22" Kettle Premium w/Slow N' Sear 2.0
Pit Barrel Cooker
Grilla Grills Chimp
W.C. Bradley & Co. Char Kettle CK-115 ~1980s Vintage Grill (inactive)
When my PBC finally gives out, I will be giving the Bronco a very hard look. I love my PBC and have it down to a science, but the added temp control of the Bronco really is making me look in that direction.
