I don't care too much for beer, although I've had plenty. In high school (I was 18 when I graduated, the drinking age in Tn at the time) my boyfriend and I would go to the OK Confectionary (across street from police station), run by an old lady named Mandy, who would sell beer to anyone who could see over the counter. We could get a six pack of Old Milwaukee in bottles for $1.84. For a couple extra dollars, we could get a bag of Fritos, and a giant dill pickle. She had little pickle sized brown paper bags to put them in, from the vat on her counter. For a few more dollars, at ~30c/gallon, we could fill his car up and drive around all day Saturday. I learned to drink it, but never loved it. Then went to Ireland, where I found Guinness and Murphy's (I agree with whomever above likes Murphy's better.) Still rarely drink it, but prefer the darker ones. If I need to drink it, Dos Equuis is my current choice. My dad drank PBR, meaning I'd never try it. That competitive daughter thing. Same reason I'll never go to law school, eat pickled pigs' feet, or drive a run down VW bus full of hunting and fishing gear, either.

I proudly voted for PBR. Beer for me is based on the activity at hand. Post lawn mow is PBR. Grilling and smoking calls for Lone Star. If the temperature is above 90* it’s time for a Narragansett Shandy while after work deck beer is either a Porter or Stout. Watching a show or movie with a bowl of peanuts will bring in Narragansett Lager, the beer that made Jaws famous 50 years ago. My variety pack beer is Sam Adam’s. There’s many more weird pairings that I have but I think I’ve already said too much. Oh ya if I’m out I will order an IPA, but not the kind that tastes like a pine tree and grapefruit. Now I’m done.

An adjunct that is NA, does not matter if you drink it or pitch it. IMHO

I can't believe no one has replied about Robert's in Nashville.

So, if you go to Broadway in Nashville, stop by Robert's (been there apparently forever), a very small narrow bar sandwiched in between bigger (and louder!) places, you'll be able to get PBR's for $2 each. In Nashville, that's a huge discount over other bars along the street.

I hadn't had PBR for probably 15 years until we first went down there.

So, will I drink it? Ummm yeah! Saved me like $50! And after 5 or 6, I really didn't care anymore!

EDIT: Normally, I'll go for Miller (it's the champagne of beers! Says it right on the label!), or Modelo or Yuengling. But if someone offers me something free, I ain't turnin' that down either!

My dad drinks PBR pretty exclusively. My husband likes IPAs and whiskey/bourbon. I drink various microbrews, but not often. I prefer mixed drinks.

Love Coors heavy (Coors Banquet). Coors Light, however, gives me a terrible headache if I have more than one.

Alan Brice which I why I drink Bud Light because 2 or three don't hurt! Also why I have only one whiskey!

            So?🍺

Has one of these two beers been proclaimed the winner? 🍻

And will the loser admit defeat and drink a 6 pack of PBR 16oz tall boys? 😊

            Well…if it’s yellow…
Put it back in the horse. LOL

If I’m looking for a light beer, I’ll have a Guinness.
Otherwise, it’s imperial stouts, porters, and other stouts for me.

About as close to yellow as I’ll generally venture is Amber Bock…

I would drink used bath water before I drank either one of those. And this is coming from a guy who could only afford Iron City Light when I was a young man in the Marines

If it's free and the weather is hot, I'd take the PBR. If there was an alternative like, say, an old fashioned made with a good bourbon that's what I'd like.

IMO coors light isn't a beer . I was drinking Yuengling during my vacation and it went down easy without upsetting my gut like other brand name beers

Yuengling is a good beer. Oldest brewery in America. 👍

Did we come to a conclusion yet or do we need to settle this with a cage match? I’ll wager to drink not more than one beer of whatever side wins.
