    All beer drinkers

Well, I did it. I bought a 6-pack of Coors Light, 16oz cans. The reason is based on Panhead John 's posts of great BBQ and I understand he likes Coors Light.

For this test review, I sat in the sun and the temperature was 72° outside.
I was pleasantly surprised Coors Light was as good as it is. That is for a light beer, Clean, crisp, and refreshing. I can't believe I said that.

In conclusion, I still prefer PBR and it is still my go-to. But at least I am giving it the good old 6-pack try

As a teenager, I drank Coors and Shiner. but I’ve never tried a Coors light. I’m glad you like it.

It's a great guzzler when it's hot, I'll give it that.

I brew beer, but my wife is a light beer drinker, and does't like anything flavorful in beer styles... just American light lager like Miller/Coors/Yuengling/etc Light. Right now on tap I have a Hefeweizen (5.4%), Belgian Blonde (7.6%), IPA (8.4%) and Flanders Red (barrel aged sour, 5.9%). She doesn't like a one of them.

I got her Miller Light and Coors Light recently and she is gravitating to the Coors Light. So now my next brew session is going to be trying for an American style light lager, to see if I can make something light enough to get her drinking home brew. The downside? 8 weeks from brewing to drinking with a lager... but she's worth it!

I can give you my recipe for a really great Mexican lager (has flaked maize in it) brewed with Lutra Kveik which is fermented out in about 3 days (but I leave a week) and then cold crash for another 2 weeks and ready to go. It ferments out dry so it's easy drinking.

Waster I've not thought of kveik yeasts in relation to lager's, but you now have me thinking... thanks!

jfmorris I love playing with kveik yeasts and have used the Lutra strain in lager and cider, as it finishes dry with little yeast expression. Used hothead in an oatmeal porter before I had fermentation temp control and it was stunning.
David Heath's YouTube channel talks a lot about kveiks if you need some research.

Bud Light: go WOKE and go broke.
From what I have read the losses are in the Billions.

From what I've seen, losses are being made up by Bud Light drinkers switching to Busch Light.

ah, speaking of 16 oz, having a Yuengling Traditional Lager, it’s 84°, that’s as light as I go unless feeling frisky in a row boat.

YES! Peroni is the best. I’ll get Stella if there is no Peroni at my store.

I use to bartend a few years ago. Being older and wiser, patrons would ask me, “what is my signature drink”? I’d tell them, “oh, I make a drink that is flavorful, refreshing and comes out perfect every time”. They’d look at me and ask, “what is it”? I’d respond, “Peroni on tap”.

Only two issues as I see it…it’s yellow and it’s “light.”
Other than that…yeah, I’ve got nothing. LOL
