I should probably keep this to myself so I didn’t have to wait in long lines, but I found another place to stop on the way to College Station besides Louie Muellers.
Decided to give these guys a try after they made the last Texas Monthly list, It is very good, They are known for the sides which they rotate like their meats. The day I was there they had Brisket and Turkey, beans and Corn Casarole, I believe they also had a Cucumber side dish, but I didn’t try any. Brisket and Corn Casarole are there every day and everything else is whatever they decide to cook the night before. Interesting idea, but it works for them since they sell out mid afternoon every day they are open.
